Lytle-Barnett Has a New Production Home Base

Lytle-Barnett has a new home base for making our vintage sparkling wines at Flâneur Wines. The 11,500-square-foot wine making facility in Carlton will welcome our premium grapes from Anahata Vineyard, Bieze Vineyard and Zenith Vineyard each harvest to start the meticulous process of creating Lytle-Barnett méthode champenoise sparkling wines. The facility was designed with scale in mind to handle over 300 tons of Willamette Valley fruit annually and features a dedicated water treatment system and an array of blending tanks, all carefully selected to ensure the preservation of grape integrity and the expression of terroir. Two temperature-controlled barrel rooms provide the ideal environment for élevage, while a spacious 4,500-square-foot covered crush pad allows for seamless processing during harvest season.
The new facility, completed in 2022, promises to merge craftsmanship with modern technology with state-of-the-art equipment. This allows our winemaking team, Andrew Davis (Director of Winemaking) and Scott Dwyer (Winemaker), to continue crafting exceptional vintage sparkling wine in the French tradition méthode champenoise. We are well prepared to welcome our 12th harvest in the fall of 2024 to continue French tradition meets Oregon authenticity. To shop for  our bubbles, visit us at https://shop.lytle-barnett.com/Wines.
