2018 Lytle-Barnett Blanc de Noirs

Review

“As with all of the Lytle Barnett Sparkling Wines, this one also sees extended tirage. These wines seem to be getting better and better with every new vintage, and I cannot wait to see how these wines age over time. Presenting a fine mousse and a delicate mouthfeel, it boasts notes of fresh white peach, baked brioche, and caramelized almonds. It’s a rich and decadent wine that will only get better with time. Best in 2024 and then enjoy for 15 years or longer. Only 180 cases made.”

2017 Lytle-Barnett Blanc de Blancs

Review:

“Another spectacular Sparkler from the team of Lytle Barnett, this one from 100% Chardonnay grapes in the Eola-Amity AVA. It’s a bit more aggressive on the palate than some of the previous vintages. It boasts notes of fresh Granny Smith apple, toasted hazelnuts, tangerine oil, sandy minerality, and hints of baked croissant. It finishes long and crisp. Better in 2023. Just 100 cases produced.”
